The Dog Days of Summer

Or perhaps...just the amazing days of summer.  From staycations, to the mountains, to the beach- we had a blast doing what we love most- spending quality time teasing each other!  

Clint:
When Clint wasn't packing up the car, camping with Boy Scouts, or at the computer- he was playing monster with the kids- building rockets and attacking terrorists virtually (We each do our part to save the world)...Hold the applause folks, he may be number one, but he's also modest. Clint is literally a life saver. 


Wendy:
Fun + sun + swim + dance= Summer.  I wrapped up another fun summer at Suwanee Town Park choreographing "Filligan's Island" for their Broadway in the Park series. But the highlights definately were the family reunions in Vernal and Cape San Blas, Florida.  Bonfires, smores, cannon balls, family movie nights, playing monster hide n seek and terrifying the children- that's what gives life meaning.


Christian:

 

Arrow of light award recipient, Boy Scout, & proud owner of an IPAD.  Fav  past times include: teasing, gaming, & teasing.  Christian is the youngest principal of the "Wyngate School District".  His skills include- human alarm clock, custodial services, strict disciplinarian, safety patrol, and world class hugger.  If you try to leave his school without a hug- you will find yourself in detention.   

Alyssa: Mommy's lil helper extraordinaire!
She cooks, cleans, entertains, gives fashion advice, and is a liscensed health care professional.  After work one day, I walked up the stairs and found a "Secretory" Christian in a makeshift reception area. He directed me to sign in on his IPAD for an appointment with

"Mrs. Sorensen". Then he casually leaned back and knocked on the wall behind him.  Tyler entered into the hallway and professionally escorted me into the upstairs office for my appointment with the "Manager".  Obviously, I demanded to see her credentials and was satisfied after seeing a paper id with scotch tape, a school picture, and marker signifying that Alyssa was 28. At that point, Alyssa proceeded to ask me soothing questions about my day and it all ended with me in tears bearing my soul and her suggesting that I "learn to let all that go". Magnificent. Office Hrs. are 4-7:30pm M-F.            

                              

Tyler:

The "Turnaround kid", known for getting into a sticky situation and turning it around completely.  I am so proud of him for his humility, work ethic, and drive to make Heavenly Father happy.  It is an incredible character attribute that I hope to emulate. He loves body surfing, wrestling dad, jumping on the tramp in his swimsuit with the hose running, and playing with our neighbor Riddoc.

Reagan:
She is our little Ray of Sunshine.  Snuggling and making squeeky little baby or puppy noises-She is the queen of our hearts. She loves to chat with Alyssa through the night, play legos with Tyler, order Christian around, spank daddy and do "kitchen floor picnic lunches and do tinks" with Mama. (Tinks-the sound a goblet makes after you say cheers-or a hot dog, "mac r cheese", or peanut butter and jelly). Ray is a master linguist- here are a few nuggets for you: "Toe tip": when you sneak around, "lucky": describes being gross (Yucky), (After she says "I love you" in a silly growl- "Only Monsters and Men Love Mamma".) Her best friend is Ava and they are surnamed the "Toxic Twins" by their uncle Robert...but don't believe the hype- according to their mothers, they are perfect.
